Bergstrom Inc. is responding to significant growth in the international market by naming a director of emerging markets. The position, which is new to the climate-control systems company, will be held by Steve Carter, who is being promoted from his role as managing director of Bergstrom, Europe.
“With Steve’s appointment to this position, we are renewing our focus on emerging markets, with the ultimate goal of eventually establishing a new division within Bergstrom,” said Jack Shaffer, president & COO. “We recognize the huge opportunities that are in the global marketplace, and I am confident that Steve and his team will continue to strengthen our excellent relationships with customers and suppliers worldwide.”
Graham Cook will replace Carter as managing director of Bergstrom Europe.
Carter will be responsible for developing new opportunities worldwide and for managing emerging markets by establishing the infrastructure necessary to support them on an ongoing basis, Bergstrom said.
