BP Lubricants Americas has promoted Paul Waterman to CEO of the company, effective May 1. In his new role he will be responsible for the company’s lubricant business across North and South America

BP Lubricants Americas has promoted Paul Waterman to CEO of the company, effective May 1. In his new role he will be responsible for the company’s lubricant business across North and South America. He is being promoted from his existing post as gm.

Waterman will succeed Peter Meola, who has led the company for the past six years. Waterman joined Castrol, now a brand of BP Lubricants, in 1994. Before becoming gm for BP Lubricant Americas in 2006, he was the regional vp of BP’s Arco AM/PM convenience store business in 2004.
