Daimler Truck Financial (DTF) is providing financial products and services for customers of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA).

MFTA has more than 175 dealers in the U.S.

“We understand the finance requirements of the vocational buyer and we have the dedicated credit teams who have handled this kind of business for years,” said Juergen Rochert, vice president and head of Daimler Truck Financial. “The combination of MFTA’s product lineup and DTF’s financial expertise in the industry will further improve the market position of Daimler’s commercial vehicle sales in the United States.”

Mitsubishi Fuso offers Class 3-5 cabover trucks, including the new 2012 Canter FE/FG Series with 18,000-mi. service intervals and a 5-year/175,000 powertrain warranty.

Qualified customers could receive rates as low as 0.9% beginning in the third quarter with terms up to 72 months, DTF said. Other financial products will include TRAC leasing, a full line of insurance and aftermarket products, and online account management.

“The addition of DTF as a financial resource for our network of dedicated dealers and loyal customers will only aid to solidify our position in the market by placing more of the revolutionary new line of Canter FE/FG- Series trucks into business and municipal operations throughout the United States,” said Todd Bloom, president & CEO of MFTA.

Daimler Truck Financial provides financial services for Freightliner, Western Star, Sprinter, and Thomas Built Bus dealers and customers. Mitsubishi Fuso is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. in Kawasaki, Japan, part of Daimler AG.
