The next public meeting of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Assn.’s Medical Review Board (MRB) will be held January 10, 2007 at DOT headquarters in Washington, DC

The next public meeting of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Assn.’s Medical Review Board (MRB) will be held January 10, 2007 at DOT headquarters in Washington, DC.

The meeting will focus on recommendations for science-based guidelines to be used in developing new medical standards for commercial drivers.

The MRB was established to advise FMCSA in its efforts to comply with the SAFETEA-LU mandate to update medical standards for commercial drivers to ensure that vehicles are operated safely.
