ExxonMobil brings long-life engine oil lineto U.S.

A line of motor oil from ExxonMobil Lubricants and Petroleum Specialties that is designed to help extend the life of both light-truck and pass-car engines will make its debut in the U.S. market this year. The products will become available at retail and installer locations starting this month in the U.S.

The new l Mobil Super line consists of three distinct products, each with key features, noted ExxonMobil:

  • Mobil Super is designed to help extend engine life by preventing sludge and reducing wear and has a stated oil change interval of 5,000 miles. It is available in 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 grades.
  • Mobil Super High Mileage is designed to help extend engine life in higher-mileage vehicles, combining sludge prevention and wear protection with anti-oxidants that help to reduce oil breakdown. It is formulated with a seal conditioner to help prevent leaks and reduce oil consumption. It is available in 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 grades.
  • Mobil Super Synthetic is designed to better handle high temperatures and offers sludge prevention and wear protection properties. It is available in 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 grades.

Mobil Super products have been on the market already in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
