Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is rebranding its Pilot Truck Care Centers as Wingfoot Truck Care Centers in the coming weeks

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is rebranding its Pilot Truck Care Centers as Wingfoot Truck Care Centers in the coming weeks.

The 31 centers are located next to Pilot Travel Centers and service on-highway commercial trucks. They are part of Goodyear’s Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems division. The company also plans to open ten additional centers this year.

“By unifying the planned new locations with the existing network under our Wingfoot Truck Care Center banner, we’re bringing to customers the same services they’ve come to expect from Wingfoot,” said Mark Totten, Wingfoot’s vp-marketing.

The centers offer a full line of tire products under the Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly tire brands as well as air conditioning checks/repairs, driveline and suspension inspections, and brake and air system repair. Work on exhaust systems and wiring and DOT inspections are also handled at the centers by Tire Industry Assn.-trained and Automotive Service Excellence-certified technicians, Goodyear said.

All locations under the Wingfoot brand umbrella are part of Goodyear’s fleetHQ servicing network.

“This is a tremendous program that helps our customers who have a tire issue on the road,” said Totten. “By calling fleetHQ, our customer’s location is immediately mapped, and a local fleetHQ location will respond to the call.
