Dave Durand has been promoted to vp-aftermarket parts for Great Dane Trailers from his current post of aftermarket parts director. As he did in his prior position, will continue to oversee the PDC and parts activities associated with Great Dane's branch operations.

Since January of 2006 when Durand joined Great Dane, his “experience in the parts industry and his managerial skills have proven to be an asset both at the PDC and to Great Dane in general,” noted the company.

Durand is a 25-year veteran of the aftermarket parts industry, largely on the trailer side of the business. He began his career in the trailer industry with Timpte Trailers in Denver. After spending a few years with Transwest Trailers he moved onto Aurora Parts and Accessories.

"With this solid background and his proven performance at Great Dane, I am confident that the improvements we have experienced at the PDC and our branch operations will continue to strengthen Great Dane's aftermarket presence," said Jim Pines, executive vice president for Great Dane.
