Insurance provider offering SpeedGauge analytics to customers

Fleets looking for a break in insurance premiums can now take advantage of SpeedGauge analytics through insurer Brazos Specialty Risk

Fleets looking for a break in insurance premiums can now take advantage of SpeedGauge analytics through insurer Brazos Specialty Risk.

Brazos will offer its customers SpeedGauge’s value-added analytics to improve risk assessments. In turn, Brazos will offer those fleets using the service “highly competitive fleet insurance premiums.”

“With SpeedGauge deployed across a fleet, Brazos can offer the best possible rates while providing added incentive for a fleet to educate its drivers on safe driving techniques,” said Chris Polk, CEO of Brazos, a mid-market truck insurance provider. “Because of the analytics provided, we’ll be able to pass down savings to those companies using SpeedGauge and offer a discount on our rates.”

This is the first time that SpeedGauge has partnered with an insurance provider. The company views this as an important partnership to ensure SpeedGauge supplies the best services and return on investment.

“SpeedGauge has always sought to provide fleets with the best information to create a smarter and safer fleet,” said SpeedGauge CEO Jonathan Hubbard. “Working with insurance companies was the next logical step in our dedication to helping fleets operate safely while reducing costs.”

According to Brazos, companies equipped with SpeedGauge have saved as much as 15% on insurance premiums across an entire fleet.
