William J. Shea Jr. has been elected to fill a new seat on the J.B. Hunt Transport Services board of directors

William J. Shea Jr. has been elected to fill a new seat on the J.B. Hunt Transport Services board of directors.

Shea, 56, is the founder and president of Kelley Transportation Services. He also founded Bay Cities Leasing before selling it to General Electric Credit Corp. in 2004.

He has also served as vp of marketing for Brae Corp.’s Rail Div.; director of marketing of Itel Corp. Rail Div.; and marketing representation for IBM Corp. GSD.

He currently serves on the board of the International Transportation Institute of the University of Denver, and served as a director on the board of Interpool Corp. from 2004-2008.
