MHC Kenworth, of Kansas City, MO, has been named the 2010 Kenworth Parts and Service Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada.
The announcement was made at the annual Kenworth Parts and Service Meeting, held in Orlando, FL. The award recognizes outstanding parts and service support.
“MHC Kenworth - Kansas City is honored to receive the prestigious Kenworth Parts and Service Dealer of the Year award,” said Tim Murphy, president of MHC Kenworth, which operates 41 Kenworth dealerships in 10 states. “We commend our many dedicated employees who deliver excellent parts and service support and high customer satisfaction to our many loyal customers.”
Kenworth also named its Regional, Gold and Silver Parts and Service Dealers of the Year.
Regional Award winners are:
Canada: Edmonton Kenworth (Edmonton, Alb.); Central: MHC Kenworth - Kansas City (Kansas City, Mo.); Great Lakes: Central Illinois Trucks; Northeast: Truck Enterprises – Lynchburg; (Lynchburg, Va.); Southeast: Kenworth of Birmingham (Birmingham, Ala.) and Western: Motor Power Equipment - Billings (Billings, Mont.). The awards recognize the highest performing Kenworth dealerships and reward exceptional performance in all areas of customer service.
Gold Awards
Gold Award winners are Edmonton Kenworth, Inland Kenworth (U.S.), Kenworth Sales Company, MHC Kenworth - Kansas City, Motor Power Kenworth – Billings, and Truck Enterprises – Lynchburg.
Silver Awards
Silver Award winners are Central Illinois Trucks, GreatWest Kenworth, Kenworth of Birmingham, Kenworth Quebec, Wallwork Kenworth and Wisconsin Kenworth.
TRP Awards
For the first time at the Kenworth Parts and Service Meeting, Kenworth dealer excellence in the support and sales of the TRP brand of all-makes parts for trucks, trailers and buses was also recognized.
Edmonton Kenworth was named TRP All-Makes Dealer of the Year, Kenworth of Indianapolis received the TRP Bus Segment Dealer of the Year, and Kenworth Sales Company in West Valley, Utah, was named TRP Trailer Segment Dealer of the Year.
“The TRP awards for All-Makes, Bus and Trailer recognized the efforts of those dealers who used TRP most effectively to compete and penetrate new markets, while at the same time growing incremental sales with existing customers,” said Darrin Siver, Paccar vice president and Paccar Parts general manager.
