Mack Trucks Inc. today announced it will again be the primary sponsor of the American Trucking Assns.’ (ATA) Share the Road program. Share the Road is an ATA-organized media campaign that educates auto drivers how to safely drive around large trucks.
Share the Road uses a group of professional truck drivers with exemplary safety records as spokespeople for the program. These drivers conduct safety demonstrations for local media in cities around the U.S. to detail issues such as potential blind spots, safe following distances and truck stopping distances.
Including 2007, Mack has now sponsored Share the Road for the seventh consecutive year.
