Memphis readies for annual Trucking Expo

The Memphis 2nd Annual Trucking Expo will be held Oct. 22, 2011, from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. at Agricenter International in Memphis, TN.

Presented by Worldwide Transport & Permit Service, the event will showcase innovative and cutting-edge products in trucking. There will also be information on the logistics industry.

The event will allow exhibitors, business owners, and individuals to connect and exchange knowledge and ideas on the industry, trucking standards, regulations, and compliance, organizers said.

Entertainment will be provided by Memphis’ Nancy Apple and country music singer Jesse Watson. Driver recruiters will also be on hand. Educational seminars will be held, featuring Jon Dierberger of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Ron Meredith of the Financial Center, and Carl Malone of the Sleep Diagnostics Center.

There will also be a kid’s zone and a truck showcase. Parking and admission is free.
