Nelson Global Products, a manufacturer of exhaust products for on- and off-highway markets, including mufflers and silencers, exhaust tube assemblies and EGR and thermal management tubing for emissions systems, is entering the commercial aftermarket.
Randy Aylor has been appointed general manager to lead the company’s new push in the aftermarket. Previously, Nelson manufactured products for the OE market only.
“We are confident that our customers want to have Nelson exhaust and fabricated tube assemblies available again in the aftermarket, and Randy’s extensive global aftermarket experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead this segment of our business,” said Tom Gosnell, CEO, Nelson Global Products.
Aylor was most recently area director for Safeworks. He also served as director of marketing and business development for Meritor Aftermarket, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
