Rush acquires Asbury Automotive Atlanta

Rush Enterprises subsidiary Rush Truck Centers of Georgia has acquired the assets of Asbury Automotive Atlanta, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group

Rush Enterprises subsidiary Rush Truck Centers of Georgia has acquired the assets of Asbury Automotive Atlanta, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group.

Based in Georgia, Asbury operates International, Hino, Isuzu, UD Trucks, IC Bus and Workhorse franchises in Atlanta with dealership locations in Atlanta and Doraville and a collision center in Atlanta. The dealerships operate under the name Nally Motor Trucks.

Rush also announced it will expand its truck center in Smryna, GA, to include International heavy- and medium-duty trucks and buses manufactured by IC Bus. The Smryna center currently sells Hino, UD, and Isuzu trucks.

“We are pleased to support customers in the Atlanta market with International, Hino, Isuzu, UD, IC Bus and Workhorse brands and grow our Navistar Division to 15 full service dealerships,” said W. M. “Rusty” Rush, president & CEO of Rush Enterprises, Inc. “Our Navistar Division represents not only incremental truck sales for Rush, but also increased parts and service revenues from a market share leader. We will continue to work with Navistar to look for future opportunities to grow together.”

The locations will operate as part of the company’s Navistar Division.
