Shell Lube Tech Tour on the road again

Shell Lubricants has launched its second annual Technology Tour. This is a multi-media conference designed to educate fleet professionals about upcoming changes and expectations in new equipment maintenance procedures and intervals. The cross-country tour will visit ten cities

Shell Lubricants has launched its second annual Technology Tour. This is a multi-media conference designed to educate fleet professionals about upcoming changes and expectations in new equipment maintenance procedures and intervals. The cross-country tour will visit ten cities.

Fleet customers attending a session will learn about the latest industry developments including biodiesel fuels, ULSD (ultra low sulfur diesel) fuel updates, 2007 equipment changes and maintenance considerations, API CJ-4 lubricants and synthetic oils updates, and unique Shell fleet service including Lube VideoCheck and the Shell Fleet Management Program.

“The Shell Technology Tour provides Shell Lubricants with a great opportunity to reach the fleet community and educate them about important industry changes that may impact their business,” said Walt Silveira, U.S. technical manager, Shell Lubricants.

The tour schedule includes visits to the following cities: August 7, Jacksonville; August 9, Atlanta; August 14, Los Angeles; August 16, Houston; August 20, St. Louis; August 22, Dallas; August 28, Knoxville; August 30, Philadelphia; September 5, Indianapolis; September 6, Chicago.
