The U.S. EPA 2006 SmartWay Awards to honor top environmental performers will he held at the Management Conference & Exhibition (MC&E) hosted by the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) on Oct. 30.

Saving fuel is a key theme throughout the 2006 MC&E, ATA said. The MC&E will also feature three sessions for trucking executives seeking to cut fuel costs via equipment, purchasing and operational strategies.

The MC&E will be held at the Gaylord Texas Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX from Oct. 28-31.
