Trimac Income Fund, a provider of bulk trucking services, is wrapping up its deal to buy The Jeffbrett Group Partnership

The Calgary, Ontario-based Trimac Income Fund, a provider of bulk trucking services, is wrapping up its deal to buy The Jeffbrett Group Partnership, which generates $10 million Canadian in annual revenues working primarily for St. Lawrence Cement in Southern Ontario.

“This transaction expands our cement hauling capability in Southern Ontario and introduces us to a new customer in that marketplace,” said Terry Owen, CEO of Trimac Transportation Services, the trucking arm of the Trimac Income Fund.

“The seasonality of this [cement] business, with activity levels peaking in the summer months, provides operating synergies for our recently acquired eastern Canadian propane transportation business which is more active in the winter months,” he added.

Trimac also operates Bulk Plus Logistics Limited Partnership, s subsidiary providing third-party transportation logistics services in Canada and the U.S.
