Lane closures of both eastbound and westbound lanes of US 60 east of Kings Ranch Road between mileposts 204 and 211in the Gold Canyon, AZ, area are scheduled for the upcoming weeks

Lane closures of both eastbound and westbound lanes of US 60 east of Kings Ranch Road between mileposts 204 and 211in the Gold Canyon, AZ, area are scheduled for the upcoming weeks.

Crews will be working daily, including weekends, from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning today through Thursday, Sept. 1, according to a report in Gold Canyon Today.

Access to the Gold Canyon community at Kings Ranch Rd., Mountainbrook Dr. and Superstition Mountain Dr. will not be restricted although traffic congestion may occur due to reduced speed limits in the construction zone and the mobilization of heavy construction equipment.

The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph through the construction zones and is expected to cause delays of up to 20 minutes.
