Ryder System, Inc. has announced it will combine its U.S. and International Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) business operations into a single organization, aligning SCS expertise, business resources and management processes to support global sourcing and production needs.

As a result, president of U.S. Supply Chain Solutions Vicki O’Meara has decided to leave the company to pursue other interests. O’Meara worked at Ryder for ten years and previously served as executive vp of corporate operations and executive vp and general counsel. Ryder will conduct an internal and external search of candidates to lead the new Global Supply Chain Solutions organization.

“Vicki has made significant contributions to Ryder’s progress in each of her diverse roles over the past 10 years, and was instrumental in initiating global account management within our Supply Chain Solutions business,” said Ryder chairman and CEO Greg Swienton, who will direct SCS operations on an interim basis. “We thank Vicki for her commitment and we wish her much success in the future.”
