The 300,000th Pete built at Peterbilt Motors Co.'s Denton, TX, plant, a model 387, recently rolled off the line, a bit more than 28 years after the first one. The milestone machine was earmarked for truckload carrier Witte Brothers Exchange.
“Witte Brothers is proud to partner with Peterbilt,” said Brent Witte, president of Witte Brothers Exchange. “Our company's rich history dates back to before 1950 when the company canvassed the Midwest hauling livestock and grain. It is an honor to take delivery of Denton's 300,000th produced truck — it represents our dedication to excellence.”
