GITI Tire USA has formed an alliance with The Midnight Trucking Radio Network (MTRN) to provide a commercial message and overall support for owner-operators, first-time buyers and small fleets, the company said.
The program--available through AM radio, online, and on-demand via ITunes—provides reports on hours-of-service information, legislative and economic news, and weather and road conditions. MTRN broadcasts live each night from midnight to 5 a.m. CST.
“In sponsoring MTRN, GITI felt it necessary to get behind this important program and continue the tradition of providing the information to our current and potential customers the pertinent information that they need in this tough economy,” said Dave Kolasinsky, director of marketing for GITI Tire. “This approach will build upon our owner-operator customer base and encourage their patronage of our truckstops and dealer partners.”
