Webb Wheel Products’ Aftermarket Business Unit has entered into a strategic alliance with TMD Friction, combining couple brake drums and friction linings.

The alliance between Webb Wheel Products, a Marmon Highway Technologies company that manufactures hubs, brake drums, and rotors, and TMD Friction Group, manufacturers of brake friction materials, is designed to better serve the commercial vehicle aftermarket parts industry, the companies said.

“Webb has always had a reputation for supplying quality brake drums to the industry,” said Wolfgang Winzer, president of Webb’s aftermarket business unit. “Being able to couple our products with linings from a global friction manufacturer with TMD’s experience will allow us to offer the end user the combination most likely to give him the best performance.”
