Yokohama names new pres & CEO

Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) has named Tetsuya Mizoguchi president & CEO effective April 1, 2008, replacing Norio Karashima, who was named managing corporate officer for Yokohama Rubber Company.

Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) has named Tetsuya Mizoguchi president & CEO effective April 1, 2008, replacing Norio Karashima, who was named managing corporate officer for Yokohama Rubber Company.

Karashima will return to Tokyo for his new position, but will retain his position as president of Yokohama Corp. of America.

Oishi joined YTC in 2007 as executive vp. He previously was president of Yokohama Europe. Karashima has been with YRC since 1976, and was promoted to president of YTC in 2004.
