YRC North American Transportation has named Phil Gaines president of Yellow Transportation

YRC North American Transportation has named Phil Gaines president of Yellow Transportation, where he will responsible for leading the subsidiary, which offers national, regional and international services for industrial, commercial and retail goods movement.

Gaines joined YRC in 1989 as a staff account, and has since worked in finance, accounting, investor relations, government relations and corporate development for the company. Most recently, Gaines was senior vp & CFO for YRC North American Transportation.

In addition, YRC announced Ken Bowman has been named senior vp of finance for the organization. Bowman joined the company in 2002, working in several finance and accounting positions for Yellow Transportation and Roadway.
