Devon, PA-based trailer leasing firm Transport International Pool will now be known as GE's Trailer Fleet Services business

Devon, PA-based trailer leasing firm Transport International Pool will now be known as GE's Trailer Fleet Services business. This reflects its ownership by the General Electric Co.

“We've gradually expanded our service offerings beyond just trailer rental and leasing, so our move to change names to the GE brand reflects that reality,” said Marty Thomas, president & CEO. He refers to the company’s addition of financing, maintenance and insurance services, along with the development of its VeriWise trailer tracking system.

He added that GE's Trailer Fleet Services business has 125,000 over-the-road trailer assets and operates a network of 100 rental, leasing, and maintenance locations nationwide.
