Michael J. Smid has been named president of Roadway Express, the expedited package delivery division of Yellow Roadway Corp.
Most recently responsible for the corporation’s shared services and integration of the Roadway and USF acquisitions, Smid has held a number of management positions at Yellow Corp. since joining the company in 1985, including Exec. VP and Sr. VP of operations.
Smid replaces Robert L. Stull, who retired after 28 years with Roadway.
