Millions of dollars for emissions reduction

San Francisco’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) has approximately $10.3 million in new funds available for eligible emissions reduction projects through the Carl Moyer Program. Anyone who owns and operates heavy equipment in San Francisco’s Bay Area may apply, including truck fleets.

Companies interested in learning more about the program are invited to attend a workshop on December 1 in San Francisco, December 4 in Oakland, December 5 in San Jose, or December 6 in Vallejo, CA..

More information is available at: www.baaqmd.gov/pln/grants_and_incentives/carl_moyer/index.htm.

At the workshops, BAAQMD staff will describe the guidelines for the Carl Moyer Program and how to apply for a grant as well as answer questions and offer tips on how to prepare a successful application. Application forms will also be available at the workshops.

The California air Resources Board (CARB) has also posted Carl Moyer program Guidelines and Procedures for Year 8 on its Web site at: www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/moyer/moyer.htm.
