LAS VEGAS. Frank Bove of Gas City, IN-based United Cartage Co., Inc., was honored with the Past Chairmen's Award during today's general session at the Truckload Carriers Association's (TCA) Annual Convention here.

The award, presented to him by former chairman Clifton Parker, is given to recognized industry leaders who make a significant contribution to the business community, the industry and the TCA. It is the highest award of recognition given by the association.

"To say that he is one of our ambassadors is truly an understatement," said Parker as he presented the award. "I can't think of anyone more deserving."

United Cartage Co., Inc. hauls freight including automotive, retail, electronics and foodstuffs. Bove's company has been a member of TCA for 45 years and he is one of only four persons who have served twice as a TCA officer.
