Caterpillar Inc. has released a video designed to help drivers maximize fuel economy and performance from trucks equipped with Cat engines with Acert Technology. The video provides details on “progressive shifting,” how to save fuel by downshifting, and spec’ing.

“Our new video will help drivers and their OEM truck dealers correctly spec Cat engines with ACERT Technology, as well as provide driving tips to experience the best performance and fuel economy,” said Steve Brown, director of marketing, Caterpillar On-Highway Engines.

The “Right From The Start” video is available in DVD and VHS format and can be ordered from local Caterpillar and OEM truck dealers.
