Chevron brings training to fleets

ChevronTexaco Products Company (ChevronTexaco), a provider of heavy-duty engine oils, lubricants and coolants, introduced a new series of Chevron Delo On-Highway Symposiums on March 31.

The first Symposium for 2005 will take place the week of April 11, 2005 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Rosemont, IL. Chicago-area fleets interested in attending the April 11 event can call the program coordinator at (800) 633- 5953 for more information. Additional events will be held in Minneapolis, MN in June and Philadelphia, PA in October.

The Chevron Delo On-Highway Symposium program is designed to bring together industry experts with maintenance directors of top small- to medium-sized fleets for two days of knowledge sharing on key trucking trends, products and solutions. Topics scheduled for the first Symposium include: trucking industry trends, safety, preventive maintenance and engine oil trends, an overview of the Delo family of products and a consideration of leadership in today’s market.

In addition, the Texas Motor Transport Association’s (TMTA) mobile classroom and driver simulator will be present to help train drivers. This one-of-a-kind mobile, full motion simulator incorporates advanced technology designed to enable users to experience different and dangerous driving situations off the highway in complete safety.
