Chevron Products Co. has added a new training course detailing the vital role of lubrication in diesel engines to its Lubricants University website.

The course, titled “Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Lubrication,” teaches the fundamentals of parts and operation, lubricants and potential problems, and lubricants performance specifications.

“As engine technologies grow in complexity, continued education in regards to lubricants, coolants and new engine components is a necessity for even the best diesel mechanics,” said Nicole Fujishige- commercial automotive business unit manager.

The cost to enroll per course is $59.95 and a subscription program is available for companies seeking to train multiple employees.
