Clean Energy signs LNG and CNG deals in Arizona

Clean Energy (CE) has announced it has been awarded a contract to build its third public access CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) fueling station at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ. The station will fuel 62 natural gas transit buses used between the rental car center and the airport, as well as taxis, shuttles, and other vehicles.

CE runs two other fueling stations located at the east and west entrances of the airport.

In Mesa, AZ, CE signed two contracts with MV Transportation, the transit operator for the Regional Public Transportation Authority). CE will provide turnkey operations and maintenance services for a CNG station which fuels up to 250 CNG buses, as agreed in one contract. CE will also provide LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fueling services, including a new LNG fueling station and operation and maintenance services for the station, as part of the second contract.
