Cummins Inc.’s Jamestown, NY engine plant yesterday celebrated the production of its 750,000th engine with U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY).

Cummins Inc.’s Jamestown, NY engine plant yesterday celebrated the production of its 750,000th engine with U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY). Cummins has applauded Sen. Clinton for her support for a diesel engine emissions retrofit program in the highway bill—a measure that is expected to benefit the plant.

“We are delighted that Sen. Clinton could be hear today to help us celebrate the success of the Jamestown engine plant,” said Joe Loughrey, Cummins president & COO. “She has been a key supporter of our efforts to grow our business while maintaining our commitment to the environment.”
