Cummins Westport to get new president

Cummins Westport names president Saw

Vancouver, Canada-based heavy-duty natural gas truck engine maker Cummins Westport Inc. (CWI) has tapped Guan Saw to be president, effective Apr. 1. Saw is currently gm-East Asia International Distributor Business in Beijing, China, for Columbus, IN-based diesel engine maker Cummins.

The company said Hugh Foden, CWI’s president since mid-2002, will accept a new assignment within Cummins to lead the engine business in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (formerly the Soviet Union).

Saw, 50, joined Cummins in 1989 and has been responsible for Cummins distributor business growth in East Asia, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia.
