DDC makes marketing changes

Gregory Stohler has been named the new director of marketing for engine maker Detroit Diesel Corp. This is part of a restructuring of the company’s marketing department.

Stohler – who joins DDC from Cummins Bridgeway, where he served as executive director – will be responsible for all of DDC’s marketing strategy, sales training, and communications.

DDC has also appointed Doug Ackerman as manager of medium & heavy-duty component marketing strategies and sales training.

Alexis Coffey is joining the group as marketing communications manager, responsible for trade shows, the corporate website and advertising. Prior to joining DDC, she held the role of DaimlerChrysler component sales manager for the Western Region.

Liane Bilicki remains senior communications manager for the company, overseeing all public relations.

DDC is a subsidiary of Germany’s DaimlerChrysler.
