The Self-Weighing Trailer Scale features a keypad and LCD display screen, so the operator can calibrate and weigh even if the tractor is not equipped with a scale. It has pre-calibration menus available for most of the popular trailer suspensions, so the operator can select the suspension model during set-up and the scale immediately displays the actual on-the-ground weight to within 300 lbs. of a DOT scale.
Demonstrated on reefers, vans, flatbeds, lowboys, tilt-decks, dumps and walking floor trailers, the self-contained trailer scale helps operators make more money by eliminating the check-weighing costs of wasted fuel, fees and fines; and missed delivery deadlines caused by overweight loads, Air-Weigh said.
The Air-Weigh Trailer Scale is calibrated to the specific characteristics of each manufacturer's trailer and displays weight in 20 lb. or kilogram increments. It is environmentally sealed and mounts on a frame rail or optional bracket for easy viewing.
