Waste-hauling giant Allied Waste Industries of Scottsdale, AZ, has promoted three of its executives. Michael Burnett is now vp of investor relations, Dale Parker is now vp-tax and John Quinn is vp of financial analysis and planning.

Allied Waste provides collection, recycling and disposal services to residential, commercial and industrial customers. It operates 329 collection companies, 150 transfer stations, 167 active landfills and 65 recycling facilities in 39 states.
