Ballantyne Consulting Group and Elogex Inc., an electronic commerce logistics provider, have formed an alliance to market logistics products on a global basis.

A primary goal of the alliance is to offer companies in the food and beverage, retail, industrial and manufacturing industries logistics products that use the Internet to streamline supply chains worldwide, while reducing transportation and distribution costs.

Elogex’s contribution is the Elogex Network, an online system designed to optimize logistics activities across supply chain networks, provide freight visibility within the supply chain, and automate transportation and distribution management activities.

Ballantyne and Elogex will work together in their sales and marketing efforts and leverage each other’s portfolio of existing clients to foster accelerated growth and opportunities. The two companies said they plan to jointly target over 50 customers by the end of next year.
