The Peterbilt Model 320 low-cab-forward vehicle is now available with the higher-horsepower Caterpillar C10 engine, Peterbilt Motors Co. recently said.
"The availability of the Cat C10 engine for Peterbilt's Model 320 gives customers in high-GVW applications the power they need to haul larger payloads more efficiently," says Peterbilt assistant gm Dan Sobic. "This option is a great addition to the spec'ing opportunities for the Model 320.”
The C10 engine – available at 305-, 335- and 350-horsepower ratings – joins the Caterpillar 3126B and Cummins ISC and ISM as engine options for the Model 320, which is popular in refuse and other vocational markets.
