Con-Way subsidiary opens Vermont terminal

Con-Way Central Express (CCX), a regional subsidiary of LTL conglomerate Con-Way Transportation Services, has opened its third service center in Vermont. CCX's new 16-door, 7,500 sq. ft. terminal is located on 6.4 acres in Williston, VT, one mile off Interstate 89, and will be managed by Jayson Tanner. The company has two other Vermont service centers in St. Johnsbury and Bellows Falls. Ann Arbor,
Con-Way Central Express (CCX), a regional subsidiary of LTL conglomerate Con-Way Transportation Services, has opened its third service center in Vermont.

CCX's new 16-door, 7,500 sq. ft. terminal is located on 6.4 acres in Williston, VT, one mile off Interstate 89, and will be managed by Jayson Tanner. The company has two other Vermont service centers in St. Johnsbury and Bellows Falls.

Ann Arbor, MI-based CCX added that its facility in Plattsburgh, NY, used to be its hub for Vermont freight service, but its Williston location will now serve in that capacity. The carrier expects to handle 97,000 lbs. of freight daily through its new Williston terminal.
