Donaldson Company Inc. unveiled a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) muffler and Spiracle closed crankcase ventilation (CCV) filtration system.
Donaldson said the muffler and filtration system will reduce emissions of particulate matter from heavy-duty diesel engines without sacrificing performance.
The DOC muffler CCV filtration system can be used across a broad spectrum of engines, with a wide range of operating conditions, and is the only system addressing both exhaust and crankcase emissions.
The combination of these two devices reduces engine particulate matter emissions by more than 25%, Donaldson said.
