DSC Chooses Irista

DSC Logistics, a privately owned third-party logistics providers, has chosen Irista Inc. to provide a suite of supply chain management software solutions to help DSC support its national network of logistics centers. DSC Logistics, a privately owned third-party logistics providers, has chosen Irista Inc. to provide a suite of supply chain management software solutions to help DSC support its national network of logistics centers.

Irista’s iristaWare software package will allow DSC and its customers to achieve end-to-end, real-time visibility and control of the order fulfillment and delivery process, by providing advanced order management, order sourcing, inventory deployment and warehouse management capabilities, the company said.

Accessible via the Internet, the system will provide customers a new level of visibility and detail into the order, inventory and shipment status providing a collaborative environment in which multiple trading partners can efficiently coordinate supply chain processes.

This system is also based upon the new XML messaging formats, which will help integrating customer enterprise applications with DSC’s logistics systems for warehousing, transportation, packaging and fulfillment.
