Transport Maintenance Solutions (TMS) has announced the second version of EZ Maintenance (EZM), a Windows-based repair management software package, will soon be available. EZM will feature improved alerts, an expanded inventory section, the ability to track fuel usage, and the incorporation of an Excel link in its base package.

When the program is opened the screen will alert its operator of all maintenance that is overdue.

With the improved inventory section fleets will be able to organize, maintain, and track all parts used to maintain and repair their vehicles and equipment. Parts can be selected and deducted from work orders. Inventory items can be tagged to alert the user to place an order if that item is at or below minimum levels.

Fuel usage goals of a vehicle can be set and EZM will alert the operator if a vehicle is not operating within fuel usage parameters. Reports showing comparative fuel usage for each vehicle can be generated.

System requirements for the main computer include an 800 MHz CPU, and at least 256 MB of RAM. Other computers on the network can have a 500 MHz CPU and 128 MB of RAM.
