Refirgerated carrier Freymiller Inc. will install Aether MobileMax2 terminals on 230 of its trailers. Aether has worked closely with Freymiller to develop a customized installation of the system, mounting the MobileMax2 antenna onto Freymiller's trailers, rather than its tractors.

The specialized implementation enables Oklahoma City-based Freymiller to access critical information on the position and status of its trailers, while drivers will continue to have communication capabilities through a keyboard interface inside of the truck.

The MobileMax2 data terminal transmits data messages and GPS position reports and provides data on vehicle fault codes and driver performance. MobileMax2 utilizes a dual-mode modem that automatically switches between terrestrial and satellite communication pathways without driver or dispatcher intervention to ensure complete coverage and cost-efficient communications.
