GeoCom TMS Partners with Telegeotrak

Canadian-based GeoCom TMS, a transportation management systems provider, and Telegeotrak Technologies, a which specializes in providing Global Position Systems (GPS) for vehicles, have formed a strategic partnership to develop and asset tracking management and maintenance systems for public works fleets. Canadian-based GeoCom TMS, a transportation management systems provider, and Telegeotrak Technologies, a which specializes in providing Global Position Systems (GPS) for vehicles, have formed a strategic partnership to develop and asset tracking management and maintenance systems for public works fleets.

GeoCom TMS will provide GeoNav, its powerful application for fleet tracking, monitoring and positioning as well as mobile messaging, while Telegeotrak Technologies integrates GeoNav to its GPS product line. Telegeotrak’s system provides tracking in real-time or batch mode, in addition to ongoing Internet access as well as 2-way communication.

These two integrated solutions allow efficient vehicle fleet and mobile asset tracking as well as the monitoring of several parameters such as speed, salt-spreading flow rate, road temperature, plow or sweeper positioning, in real-time or batch mode, etc., the companies said.
