Hebe is back

Former Freightliner LLC and American LaFrance CEO James Hebe and a group of private investors managed through Ballamor Capital Management Inc. have acquired the assets of Seagrave Fire Apparatus LLC and its parent company, FWD Corp., from Corsta Corp. Hebe will serve as president & CEO of Seagrave Fire Apparatus. Former Seagrave president and CEO Jim Green has agreed to serve on a consulting basis

Former Freightliner LLC and American LaFrance CEO James Hebe and a group of private investors managed through Ballamor Capital Management Inc. have acquired the assets of Seagrave Fire Apparatus LLC and its parent company, FWD Corp., from Corsta Corp.

Hebe will serve as president & CEO of Seagrave Fire Apparatus. Former Seagrave president and CEO Jim Green has agreed to serve on a consulting basis with the new company for a short period of time.

Clintonville, WI-based Seagrave manufactures a full line of commercial and custom pumpers, rescue trucks, aerial ladders, tractor-drawn aerials and platforms for fire departments across North America.

Hebe and Ballamor Capital's purchase also includes Almonte Fire Trucks of Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada; Aerialscope Inc. of Richmond, VA; Seagrave Sales & Service of South Plainfield, NJ; and Seagrave West of Rancho Dominguez, CA.
