Hino Taps New Fleet Sales Manager

Hino Diesel Trucks (USA) has named Jim Layman as its National Fleet Sales Manager. The appointment was made by Ted J. Fick, Hino's senior vp, who says the addition of Layman will significantly strengthen Hino's growth in fleet sales in the Class 4 through 7 marketplace. Hino Diesel Trucks (USA) has named Jim Layman as its National Fleet Sales Manager. The appointment was made by Ted J. Fick, Hino's senior vp, who says the addition of Layman will significantly strengthen Hino's growth in fleet sales in the Class 4 through 7 marketplace.

"Jim is a great addition to our team,” Fick said. “Our truck sales grew by 27% last year, and we're expecting double-digit growth again this year. Jim will help us convey the Hino product benefits to fleets and we expect a great response."

Fick said Layman has 20 year’s experience with fleet management and fleet sales.

“Hino has a commitment to quality and I feel their customer loyalty is unprecedented in the medium-duty market,” Layman said.
