Offering higher torque for larger fans, the DriveMaster PolarExtreme Fan Drive from Horton is available for new equipment and as a replacement unit. The heavy-duty drive provides 2,400 inch-lbs. of torque to handle the higher cooling requirements of cooled EGR engines, according to the company.
The new heavy-duty drive is spring-engaged and air-disengaged. A repair kit has also been released for upgrading standard DriveMaster fan drives to PolarExtreme performance levels.
Horton has also expanded its Klondike Series to include front-air repair kits for the Kysor K22FA fan clutch. Kits are offered for both major rebuilds and seal replacements. www.hortonww.com
