Chep Inc., an Orlando, FL-based pallet and equipment pooling company, has awarded truckload carrier J.B. Hunt Transport Services a multi-year contract to provide dedicated logistics services for 11 regional premium service centers around the country. The contract is an expansion of the international company's longstanding partnership with J.B. Hunt, which already provides Chep with van and intermodal services.

Chep is a large user of reverse logistics services, as it operates an extensive freight network around the U.S. for both outbound and inbound deliveries of pallets and containers. It controls over 160 million pallets and 34 million crates and containers.

J.B. Hunt, based in Lowell, AR, said its dedicated contract services will help Chep provide more efficient and less costly transportation for delivering and retrieving pallets and containers, especially during peak holiday periods.
