Knight's revenue and net income increase

For the quarter, revenue before fuel surcharge increased 16.4%, to $68,307,000 from $58,698,000, for the same quarter of 2001. For the six months, revenue before fuel surcharge increased 15.5% to $130,197,000 from $112,745,000 for the same periodlast year.

Net income increased 32.5% in the first quarter, to $6,704,000 from $5,060,000 over the same period in 2001. For the six months, net income increased 31.8% to $12,258,000 from $9,297,000 last year.
